Silver RS1 is a close-meshed, heavily silver-plated technical fabric. It is easy to cut and sew, does not stretch, is not suitable for making clothing and will discolour over time due to corrosion. The RS1 is ideally suited for wall and ceiling mounting or laying on the floor and for forming a Faraday cage.

Depending on the application, the material can be used in one or more layers. When manufacturing shielding bags, we recommend using the fabric in at least 3 layers. You can use the Faraday folding example included in the scope of delivery as a guide. Due to its good conductivity, Silber RS1 can be easily grounded if necessary.
